The number of clubs interested in signing West Ham star attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet has reportedly grown, with talkSPORT claiming that Valencia have entered the race to land the Frenchman’s signature.
The former Marseille man has been a revelation for the London club this season, with his incredible skill and accuracy delighting the Boleyn Ground faithful.
With Payet’s form firing him back into the French national side and having him as a contender for the PFA Player of the Year award, a host of European heavyweights are thought to have the playmaker in their sights.
Valencia are bankrolled by Peter Lim and as such previous financial concerns have been eradicated, with the La Liga giants splashing the cash in previous transfer windows.
The Mestalla outfit have had a torrid season and are expected to spend big in the summer – with every chance that Payet could be on their list of desirable additions.
