The Besiktas midfielder has played under Slaven Bilic before.

West Ham have been linked with Gökhan Töre for a number of months now. A former Chelsea youth player, the 23 year old midfielder started to flourish once he joined current team Besiktas under the guidance of Slaven Bilic. A player Bilic knows well, he is known to have a bit of a temper at times and would bring flair and passion to the Hammers.

Primarily a right sided midfielder, Töre would likely fit into the three behind the striker and would be a useful addition if he settled in well.

Positives

Töre is skilful but not all flair, he brings assists and crossing ability from the right of midfield.
Experienced player with Champions League experience and an improving eye for goal.
Still young and has 26 caps for Turkey.
Knows England and London from his time at Chelsea, and has played under Bilic.

Negatives

Inexperienced in the Premier League, so unlikely to hit the ground running.
An area that is fairly congested already with Payet, Lanzini, Antonio, Moses, Valencia and Zarate.
Valued at over £10m, is unlikely that West Ham would want to risk that much.
