Diego Tristan 2008-09
The forward had a trial with the club before the start of the 08/09 season and was deemed good enough after he impressed in training. At West Ham, he was very much a golden oldie who was well past his best but that still didn’t stop him from producing the occasional moment of magic.
He scored a stunning free kick against Stoke City to earn a 1-0 win away from home, that goal was one of three he scored at the club in 14 appearances.
Now aged 39, Tristan has retired from football and last played for Cadiz in 2009/10.
