He actually performed quite well in his very short stint at Upton Park. He was snapped up in January 2010 and was given the task of getting the goals that would keep West Ham in the Premier League. Who could forget his diving header against Everton to salvage a 2-2 draw or his vital winner against Sunderland at Upton Park?
He only appeared 11 times for the club but he did score four goals which was four more than fellow striker Mido scored in that season…the less said about him the better.
Now 34-years-old, Ilan is playing in France for SC Bastia, he’s scored four times in 42 appearances.
