Ravel MorrisonIs there a day that goes by without a new story about Ravel Morrison breaking?

The latest one is very concerning, with the Sun reporting that the England U21 international is threatening to go on strike in order to get himself a move to Fulham.

On Tuesday, Rene Meulensteen declared that the former Manchester United player wanted to reunite with him at Craven Cottage. These comments enraged West Ham who filed a complaint with the Premier League.

The whole saga is turning into something of a soap opera and you’d imagine it still has a long way to run…

Call the little shit’s bluff if the allegation is true. Shove him with the juniors and see if there is a remote possibility he may “grow up”…..Ferguson was right again – as usual…This boy is a menace.

If he goes on strike i’m not sure how you could tell the difference , he’s been AWOL for ages.

  • Mark says:

If he isn’t committed to West Ham we should let him go!

Here’s a thing. Ravel to go for 8 mil, l thought 18 mil had been added to his contract. Is this more dodgy statements from the “truthful” press.
7 mil for Lambert, with no sell on value and only 2 or 3 years in the top flight at best. This is money wasted!!!!
Still nothing from the club concerning Traore, is coming here or what?
How many more Italian fringe strikers are we going to be linked with, these players only
score 4 or 5 goals per season at best, and 2 or 3 at worst. So much BFS promising us
a 20 goal striker when he took over!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pure paper talk but if by any chance he does want to join Fulham cash in if they are preparedvv to cough up 10m let him go we don’t need passengers we have Nolan and collision in that bracket as it is

That is awful to say that about Collison, he had a bad knee injury and he can only play when he is chosne. When he is he gives his all, so sad to hear fans slag of true west ham players, ie Noble I do not get it.

i disagree about collison. commitment and ability are two separate issues. the lad puts in

  • Trevor says:

If this is true then show him the door. We don’t want players who don’t fight for the cause. I hope it’s not true , because he’s got talent.

    • peter says:

Nolan has exactly shone with a bright light this season, more like being froze like a rabbit in headlights!!!!! 2 sendings off and 2 goals proves the point, l think!
But, unfortunately, he will walk into the team when his ban is over and get back the
      captaincy again.

  • Al says:

swindon hammer – you consider Jack Collison a passenger? That’s just stupid.

These days players have too much say. Obviously Morrison has the potential to become one of the football greats given time and the right application, so it would be terrible for us to lose him. He already owes a great deal to West Ham as we have nurtured him after Sir Alex kicked him out of Man U. If his actions include going on strike, I would refuse to sell him, refuse to play him and refuse to pay him until he comes to his senses. If by the end of the season he hasn’t changed his ways, then offload him. Fulham should be careful as well, as a club, they are no bigger than West Ham and Morrison will use them as a stepping stone as well.

He is another Demba Ba using West Ham because no one else will take them. Keep him until the Summer Do not play him and all this talk that he could go to the World Cup will be scuttered as he has not been playing games. Serve him right if this is true. I watch Sunday Supplement every Sunday and that just about sums up the Press and THEIR OPINIONS, No one else’s. These people can make things happen just by writing their opinions and speaking them, The Fans should not let them wind them up. We will get to hear from the Club not these so called people and websites.

Its been coming, he could go on to be a great player, but somethings tells me he will be his own worst enemy. For all his ability, if his heart is not in it he is no good for a relegation scrap. Like how he plays the game and hope he proves me wrong, but doing himself no favours if this story is true. I said it the other day and I will say it again, Ravel – Fulham, really!!!

  • Matthew says:

Let him go. What we need is committed players who don’t get to big of an ego to leave team half way through a season. Scoring that 1 goal against spurs has gone to his head. He gets a half decent highlights reel(mostly training and friendlies)and hes walking round like hes messi.
Skill isn’t everything, and when he realizes that, he can finally become a class player. I lost all respect for him in the game against Nott’s forest. Got the right hump just because he couldn’t get half a chance on the ball, and his free kick was saved.
Let him go to fulham, means they’ll have another player to play when he feels like it*cough* berbatov.

21 games in and we need committed players with heart and the determination to keep us up. Morrison just don’t seem to have the heart. To preoccupied with how much hes worth and how much hes in the papers.

The sun is the worst paper to look at if you want to be serious

  • Peter says:

let’s face it if he does strike he’ll only be joining the rest of the picket line that’s on the pitch.
