West Ham and Stoke City are both interested in signing Manchester City striker John Guidetti on loan, reports the Daily Mirror.
The 21-year-old is set to be made available for loan by Manuel Pellegrini as he finds himself behind Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic in.
Guidetti is yet to make a Premier League appearance for Man City but impressed while on loan at Feyenoord scoring 21 goals in 23 Eredivisie games.
Only four teams in the Premier League have scored less than the 19 that the Hammers and Stoke have achieved.
Desperate for a striker
He might just be tempted to go to Stoke as it’s not far from Manchester. BFS has to sell it to the lad as being the saviour of a once great footballing team and if we miss the drop then he might be tempted to stick around. Let’s see young mobile and not carrying injuries. He’ll do for me.
