Liverpool are the latest Premier League side to be linked with West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford, with The Mirror stating that the Reds have joined the battle for his signature.

The teenage superstar broke into Slaven Bilic’s first team in 2015-16, with a stunning performance against Arsenal on the opening day of the campaign announcing Oxford to the world.

With the 17-year-old being tipped to be a future West Ham captain, there is excitement around the club over the versatile youngster’s potential.

However, reports in the press of late have stated that Oxford is stalling on a new deal with the Hammers and has made extortionate financial demands to extend his stay with the London club.

Manchester United and City are both thought to be keen on the teenager and could well make a move for him if his future with West Ham is not sorted out this summer.

Liverpool are the latest side to throw their hat in the ring, with Jurgen Klopp’s men willing to pay £10 million to bring Oxford to Anfield.
