FIVE things we learnt from West Ham’s victory over QPR

|

Alex SongAlex Song looks to be a brilliant signing

The man on loan from Barcelona was immense against QPR, and thoroughly deserving of his Man of the Match award. Sitting in front of the back four, Song was an immovable barrier to many of the R’s attacks where they tried to play through midfield, breaking up play and tackling successfully time and again.

The former Arsenal man was also completely assured in possession, and displayed an excellent passing range, which helped enable West Ham to control large portions of the game. Overall, he looks to be a real quality addition to the side, and the owners and manager deserve great credit for enticing him to play on loan at Upton Park.

There is a sixth thing we learnt, if we didn’t already know it!

We have some serious scumbag “supporters” who think it is right to boo the club captain when he justifiably came on for Zarate (and nearly scored).

How can booing him be justified on any level???

These people may call themselves supporters, but they haven’t got a clue regarding the meaning of the word, I wouldn’t share a minute with these idiots let alone a drink after a game!

Agree with the Cat regarding Nolan. Embarrassed for all supporters when this happened. Like him or not he has always given his best for us and scored many important goals. His time at whu may be up, but he should not be disrespected like this. COYI
