FIVE things we learnt from West Ham’s victory over QPR

|

AdrianFirst clean-sheet of the season

One slightly disappointing aspect to the season so far had been the number of goals West Ham have been conceding, particularly in comparison to the last campaign. This was probably partly a consequence of the new attacking style that has been adopted.

On Sunday, however, the first clean sheet of the season was achieved, which was a real positive. Admittedly QPR didn’t offer a great attacking threat, and only the introduction of Bobby Zamora seemed to cause any kind of problem to the Hammers backline. Yet for the most part James Tomkins and Winston Reid looked very comfortable and in control, limiting Rangers mainly to shots from distance, which never really troubled Adrian in goal.

There is a sixth thing we learnt, if we didn’t already know it!

We have some serious scumbag “supporters” who think it is right to boo the club captain when he justifiably came on for Zarate (and nearly scored).

How can booing him be justified on any level???

These people may call themselves supporters, but they haven’t got a clue regarding the meaning of the word, I wouldn’t share a minute with these idiots let alone a drink after a game!

Agree with the Cat regarding Nolan. Embarrassed for all supporters when this happened. Like him or not he has always given his best for us and scored many important goals. His time at whu may be up, but he should not be disrespected like this. COYI
