Lots of fans on Twitter have been fuming over David Moyes’ treatment of Pablo Fornals and it’s easy to see why.

You may have noticed that the key star was a complete omission when the squad for the Man City trip was announced, with Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini and Jarrod Bowen preferred to him on the bench.

Not only is the gaffer painfully underusing him in matches, he’s now excluding him completely from matchday squads.

When Moyes showed up, Fornals had four goal contributions in six Premier League matches, by far the most in-form player in a depleted side and he even netted in the second match of his reign, but since then he’s only played 227 minutes of roughly 630 possible in the league.

It truly is baffling, especially when you consider the absolute non-form of Lanzini.
