The Premier League have made a big announcement, confirming that they’ll be starting a Hall of Fame next month.
There will be a fan vote on inductees after a shortlist is announced along with the first two players to receive the honour in exactly four weeks’ time.
This has got fans thinking about which of our players between now and the early ’90s will be considered to have had enough skill and talent to be inducted – but let’s be honest, there probably won’t be many stars outside of ‘Big Six’ fame included in the running, will there?
Di Canio, Lampard, Payet maybe for us? We haven’t exactly been spoilt with player ability in this time frame, have we?
However, loads of supporters haven’t exactly been taking it seriously, poking fun and bantering on social media with an intriguing array of less-than-deserving names from over the years.
Abou, Zaza, Boogers, they’re all there…
Maiga and Savio all day
