West Ham fans on social media have been reacting to rumours of Issa Diop joining Chelsea in the January transfer window by naming their price for the 23-year-old.
Late last Wednesday evening, the Express broke an exclusive story claiming that Frank Lampard’s men will go after a £40m deal for the Frenchman, as he’s their prime defensive target following the lifting of their transfer ban.
The report also stated that Tottenham are in for Diop, but the Blues are getting a bid ready for the man who’s been in and out of the first team this season.
Some supporters suggested the amount they want the club to receive if he’s off to west London, with one even claiming that it should take a transfer of £100m!
Others said that they wanted money plus a player, with £20m and Ross Barkley and £40m and Reece James being muted, and a straight swap deal, with N’Golo Kante being mentioned.
