Ahead of Saturday’s visit of Everton to London Stadium, David Sullivan became the second member of the board to do an interview this week and you can just guess how it went down, do lead balloons spring to mind?
In fact, David Gold added insult to injury by making it a hat-trick when he appeared on TalkSport last Thursday (the same day as the release of Sully’s latest spin).
Understandably, supporters were furious as the 70-year-old Sullivan spoke out with highlights including throwing Manuel Pellegrini under the bus, talking up the achievements of his, Gold’s and Brady’s reign and referencing his own investment in the club, rich.
But these interviews are no coincidence as whilst this weekend sees a key Premier League matchup, it also marks ten years since Sullivan and Gold took over the club and what a decade it’s been.
Blaming manager once again. Accept the blame for once. You make out like you’ve invested so much as if we are all thick and don’t see all the player sales and wages off the books. You’ve shamed this club and embarrassed us immensely. If you had even 0.1% decency then you’d leave.

Low net spends might have something to do with that. With the exception of one window they have underfunded the squad and left gaping holes.Meanwhile,they’ve creamed off plenty in interest, sold our ground to rent an athletics track, and have mortgaged or sold anything of value.
