Fans on Twitter have been catastrophising after David Moyes delivered the latest injury update in his pre-Everton press conference last Thursday.
TEAM NEWS
Randolph: “Trained today and has been training for a while now. He’s in my thinking for Saturday”
Fabianski (Hip): “Really good news he’s only out for a few weeks”
Masuaku (Knee): “Had fluid on his knee drained. We’re seeing how it is”
Felipe Anderson (Ribs): “A doubt”— West Ham United (@WestHam) January 16, 2020
The gaffer revealed injuries to Arthur Masuaku and Felipe Anderson following Sheffield United and that they’re both battling to make the weekend – fans did not react well.
It’s no surprise either given the pace the duo add to the team as one fan eluded to, whilst another comically referred to West Ham United as injury FC and tipped relegation as a certainty from here – it hasn’t got that bad yet!
However, the knocks further weaken a depleted squad and with no outfield incomings this month thus far and three youngsters already having to be picked for the squad last Friday, it will be interesting to see what Moyes is able to do with the side come this Saturday afternoon.
Below is a list of the most captivating Tweets in response to the double injury blow…
