The reality of West Ham’s summer transfer business is that they must sell some of their fringe players to continue to fund their incomings.
Manuel Pellegrini is sending out a real signal of intent with his actions in the transfer window, with the arrival of Pablo Fornals soon to be followed by the signing of Celta Vigo forward Maxi Gomez, after Sky Sports reported the Hammers have met the Uruguayan’s release clause.
With reliable club source ExWHUemployee reporting that the Chilean would like two new forwards at the London Stadium, players such as Javier Hernandez might need to leave the club.
Corriere Dello Sport have reported that Fiorentina have shortlisted the Mexican alongside Boca Juniors striker Dario Benedetto, and the Hammers must surely be wishing the Italian club choose to make a move for Hernandez.

Football Insider have reported that Hernandez has been given the green light to leave the London Stadium, with many clubs holding interest in the forward.

West Ham must now cross their fingers that Fiorentina will push ahead with a move for the Mexican, as they plan for next season.
