COMMENTARY
West Ham cruised to a 2-0 victory over Fulham on Saturday and Hammers supporters were blown away by Michail Antonio’s display. Several claimed that the attacker looked like the player he was a few seasons ago and one stated that it couldn’t be him featuring against Fulham as he has been amazing. The 28-year-old has regularly struggled to deliver the goods this season, especially in front of goal, but Antonio clinically took his chance to score on Saturday. While Antonio’s goal could be deemed a simple one to convert, due to how close to goal he was, based on his other 16 outings this season, you probably wouldn’t have backed him to score. However it seems after watching him show his finishing ability on Saturday, several seem to think that Antonio could be back to his best with one sharing they have missed him in the Hammers team. Hopefully for the sake of these fans’ happiness, the winger is able to keep his good run of form going.
