A section of West Ham fans shared their despair after the club’s official tweet account posted just four words on Wednesday afternoon. The Hammers’ Twitter account simply stated ‘Get well soon, Arnie’ along with a screenshot of the player’s latest post on SnapChat saying he’ll be out for a while, and it was enough to upset a number of supporters. The 29-year-old limped off against Cardiff City on Tuesday due to what looked like an issue involving his hamstring and it seems as a result he’ll be missing for at least a few games. It’s worrying that Arnautvoic says he’ll be missing for a while as that’s rather vague and sounds rather ominous. It’s no surprise that the Hammers sharing his snap and simply saying get well soon upset a section of fans as they’re no doubt concern how their side will cope without their starman. Arnautovic is the leading goalscorer for the current season and seems head and shoulders above the club’s other out-and-out forwards.
