West Ham attacker Marko Arnautovic is fit enough to face Newcastle United on Saturday, according to Hammers insider ExWHUEmployee.

The known club insider shared that the 29-year-old forward has trained all week and is now expected to be available for the clash with the Magpies despite having to leave the pitch early against Manchester City during the 4-0 defeat to them.

“Arnie is actually fit for Newcastle as he has trained all week,” said EXWHUEmployee on the latest episode of The West Ham Way (which aired live on Phoenix FM, Wednesday November 28, 19:31).

Arnautovic is the Hammers current top scorer for the club this season as it stands after scoring five goals in 12 appearances.

OPINION

This is fantastic news for Hammers fans everywhere and Manuel Pellegrini as the club’s chances of getting a result against the Magpies drastically improves if Arnautovic is able to play. The forward is head and shoulders above the club’s other attacking options and is able to heap misery on Rafa Benitez’s side. The Hammers need Arnautovic especially against the Magpies on Saturday as the London club are facing Benitez’s team at the worst possible time. After struggling to get a win in the Premier League, ahead of facing the Hammers the Magpies have racked up three wins in a row and will be feeling confident. However the Magpies’ confidence may take a dent upon finding out that Arnautovic is fit to face them as they are no doubt aware that he is the Hammers’ key player at this current time. Although Benitez may not be overly worried as he may believe his defence will be able cope as they has been the strongest part of his team this season.
