West Ham must reunite themselves with Chelsea winger Victor Moses by swooping for him in the January window.

The 27-year-old, who had a successful loan spell at the Hammers in the 2015/16 season, is considering his future at the Blues according to Goal after falling down the pecking order at the club under Maurizio Sarri.

Moses’ first-team opportunities have dried up currently at Stamford Bridge due to the club switching to a 4-3-3 formation, which means he is now competing with Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro for a place.

The winger, who earns £75,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge (Source: Spotrac), has only been allowed to play 26 minutes of Premier League action so far this season, which is no doubt a frustration for him.

Given that Moses could still be frustrated by the time the January window opens, the Hammers must try to manufacture a reunion with him as he would help the loss of Andriy Yarmolenko.

The Hammers confirmed via their official website on Monday that the Ukrainian winger had successfully undergone surgery to repair a damaged Achilles tendon and would likely be sidelined for six months as a result.

Due to this Manuel Pellegrini needs to find a worthy replacement for Yarmolenko and could do with boosting his options in the January window.

Moses will no doubt jump at the opportunity to feature for the Hammers, if he really is considering an exit from the Blues, as he no doubt has fond memories of the club and he would be able to make an instant difference.

The 27-year-old has played 220 times in the Premier League so knows what is expected of him and given his respectable pace and tricky footwork he would be able to be a threat on the Hammers’ flank.

Therefore the Hammers must reunite themselves with Moses in the January window as it could be a good move for all parties involved.
