OPINION
After looking like he was never going to be a success story at the Hammers, Snodgrass has turned his career around at the club. The winger, who stands at 5ft 11in tall (Source: Transfermarkt), scored twice in his side’s 8-0 victory and arguably had his best game ever for the club. While the Hammers may have been facing a side struggling in League Two right now, you can only beat the side put in front of you. Therefore fans are right to pull out all the plaudits for Snodgrass as not only was he lethal in front on goal on Wednesday but all other areas of his game were fantastic as well. It’s no surprise that several Hammers fan tweeted to share the fact they love his work ethic as the player is clearly not the most talent, though his crosses are pinpoint, but he never gives up. Hopefully Manuel Pellegrini keeps Snodgrass around the first-team set-up for the foreseeable future as the winger is an asset to the club.
