Many West Ham fans took to social media to drool over attacker Grady Diangana after he scored a brace on his senior debut against Macclesfield Town on Wednesday night.
The 20-year-old winger was given the opportunity to feature for the Hammers’ first-team for the first time in his career and helped his side achieve an emphatic 8-0 win over the League Two outfit in the EFL Cup.
One Hammers fan tweeted that Diangana looked the real deal despite being up against a lower-ranked opposition while another shared that they thought the youngster showed great feet.

Great confidence from Grady Diangana to dribble past a few Macclesfield defenders.
The 20 year old has a shot which is saved by the keeper but still falls to Snodgrass.
Two goals in a matter of moments! 2-0. #CarabaoCup #WHUMAC

Diangana apparently tries to chip the keeper leading to the Snodgrass goal… not bad for a debutant

OPINION
Perfect debut? It sure felt like it as Diangana grabbed his opportunity to impress Manuel Pellegrini with both hands as he struck twice to ensure his side got the win. The 5ft 10in tall (Source: Transfermarkt) winger was an attacking threat for the whole game and Hammers fans will be calling for him to get more first-team opportunities in the near future. Diangana showed off his ability to take on his opponents, unleash his pace and his eye for goal. The winger will not forget this night in hurry and will be dreaming of a bright future at the London Stadium. The 20-year-old has risen through the ranks of the youth system and now will have an idea of what it takes to feature for the senior side. While one fan pointed out that the Hammers were playing a League Two side on Wednesday, the youngster can only excel against the opponent put in front of him and that’s exactly what he did.
