OPINION
The Hammers have put the whole of Premier League on notice by unveiling their latest new recruit as the signing of Anderson shows they’re not messing around this summer. It was thought that Pellegrini was capable of bringing joy to the London Stadium upon his appointment but no one would have expect his transfer business to have been this amazing. After welcoming Issa Diop, Jack Wilshere and now Anderson to the club, to name a few, there is feel-good factor surrounding the club as you can’t help but feel the Hammers could have a successful season in their upcoming campaign. At the very least it will definitely be better than their disappointing 2017/18 campaign where they faced the real threat of relegation for a large part of the season. While Anderson has never played in the Premier League before, given his past performances for Lazio then it is expected that he’ll be able to flourish in England’s top-flight sooner rather than later.
