West Ham’s phone will soon have their phone ringing off the hook after it was reported that they would be willing sell Domingos Quina for in the region of £600,000.

Sky Sports claimed on Monday that the Hammers were only searching for a six-figure fee for their talented hidden gem even though Barcelona, Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen were thought to be keen on his services.

This isn’t the first time that high-level clubs have been circling Quina as the Daily Mirror reported in April that Ajax, AC Milan, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool had all shown an interest in him in the past.

While the promising teenager may be in the last year of his contract, given his reputation and that he is currently starring at UEFA European U19 Championships his price tag is still ridiculously enticing for any club looking for a bargain this summer.

Quina has made three appearances at this summer’s European U-19 Championships so far and has been impressive in all of his outings.

The silky-skilled midfielder even scored a ridiculously memorable goal against Italy last week in the tournament, that would have had any scouts in attendance eagerly jotting down his details.

Quina may have only six senior Hammers appearances to his name but given that he is still only 18, then the will be lots of clubs willing to check him out when he won’t even cost £1million.

The 18-year-old gem following his price tag being reported is no doubt going to be able to attract even more suitors shortly as Portugal are set to be in the semi-finals of the U-19s Euro after qualifying from their group.

Given his price tag it means that there is now a low risk to signing him so teams previously linked to him may make their interest in the West Ham midfielder concrete.

This means that more clubs will join the trio of Barcelona, Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen who are known to be actively interested in Quina.

Therefore this all means that with the teenage gem currently shining at the U-19s Euros, his low price tag and him already being on several club’s radars then the Hammers can expect their phone to ring off the hook as offers come flooding in for Quina’s services.
