West Ham United fans will be chuffed to bits as news emerges that the club are hoping to complete a medical for midfielder Jack Wilshere on Thursday night, with his protracted move to the London Stadium drawing ever closer.
As reported by ExWHUemployee, an established source for reliable insider information on Twitter, the Hammers are set to carry out the medical examinations tonight ahead of an announcement in the next 24 hours.

This latest development shows that the club are not messing about in their renewed pursuit of Wilshere, after they seemingly passed up the chance to sign him earlier this summer.
The move to West Ham represents something of a homecoming for the 26-year-old, whose family have Hammers connections despite his career-long association with Arsenal.
Wilshere will no doubt prove to be a shrewd signing for new boss Manuel Pellegrini, with the Irons midfield in desperate need of reinforcement this summer.
His improved injury record over the past season will hopefully continue during his stay at the London Stadium, and Hammers fans will be blowing bubbles over the thought of him gracing the turf in Stratford.
