West Ham United are moving quickly in their attempts to snap up midfielder Jack Wilshere with a medical set for Thursday night, and some fans have taken to Twitter to react to the latest developments.
As reported by club insider ExWHUemployee, who is an established Twitter source for exclusive club news, the Hammers are hoping to complete the medical on Thursday night.
It is further claimed that the club’s media team are already preparing a homecoming video for Wilshere, whose family have Irons connections, with the deal set to be completed in the next 24 hours.

OPINION
It is clear to see that this is a signing which is getting the vast majority of Hammers fans extremely excited. Not only is this a good signing, but the club look to be moving super quick in their efforts to wrap it up. That is likely down to a desire for Wilshere to join the rest of the squad in Switzerland for pre-season training. His recent injury issues mean that it is vital he gets in as much work before the season starts as possible, and Manuel Pellegrini will be well aware of that. All in all, this is a stellar move from the club in what has been a brilliant window so far.
