West Ham need to get involved in the reported hunt for Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford as the attacker is a talent they can’t miss out on.

Jose Mourinho is set to decide whether the exciting 20-year-old forward can get the playing time he needs at Man United next season with the Daily Mail claiming that Everton, Newcastle United and Leicester City are already plotting loan bids if the attacker is set to be available.

The Hammers must hijack this hunt for Rashford as the forward, who can also play as a winger on either front, would be the most exciting signing of the summer that will have everyone reeking of jealousy if the London club successfully signed him.

Rashford, who earns £55,000-a-week as reported by the Daily Mirror, would burst up and down the wings using his blistering pace and bag of tricks at the London Stadium to make the Hammers a side that everyone would fear playing.

The 20-year-old could then be used to terrorise Premier League sides with slow defences by being used as a centre-forward to lead the line for the Hammers.

However Manuel Pellegrini would see fit to use him, Rashford would excel and make the Hammers lethal in front of goal.

The dazzling talent already has 17 Premier League career goals to his name, despite being switched position and used from the bench regularly, and is capable of regularly scoring more if used right.

If Mourinho foolishly sanctions a temporary exit for Rashford then several more clubs will join the race for his services but the Hammers could still easily beat them to his signature.

Therefore given how flexible he is regarding his attacking position, his ability in front of goal and his pace, the Hammers must hijack and win the race for his services if he becomes available to cause all their Premier League rivals to reek of jealousy.
