Manchester City fans have claimed on Twitter they would be happy for their club to sell Claudio Bravo to West Ham this summer.
New Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is in the market for a new goalkeeper after Joe Hart returned to parent club City following the end of his season-long loan.
In a question-and-answer session with Chilean media, as quoted by Emol and cited by the City Watch Twitter account, Pellegrini was asked whether he would be interested in signing Chile number one Bravo.
The 64-year-old said the cost of the deal for the former Barcelona player was out of reach for West Ham.
Pellegrini: “Taking Claudio Bravo to West Ham is not possible [for financial reasons].”

Bravo joined City from the Spanish giants in the summer of 2016 in the immediate wake of Pep Guardiola’s appointment as manager.
The 115-times international was City’s number for the majority of his debut campaign but did not always convinced and was replaced as first choice by Brazilian Ederson last summer.
Bravo made just 13 appearances in 2017-18 and there is the possibility that he could quit the Etihad Stadium this summer.
City fans would be happy for their popular former manager – who steered the club to the league title in his first campaign – to sign the 35-year-old.
