West Ham fans on social media celebrated the club confirming that they had successfully signed defender Ryan Fredericks.
The Hammers posted an official welcome video, via their official Twitter account, to show off their new signing and highlighted the right-back’s reputation for being a speed demon.

The London-based Premier League club quickly followed up their tweet with a statement which was posted to the club’s website.
As confirmed by the club’s brief message, the Hammers shared that Fredericks had agreed to join the club on July 1 upon his Fulham contract expiring, as he has signed a four-year deal with Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
The news of the 25-year-old’s arrival caused Hammers supporters to go into party mode with several replying to the club’s tweets simply to shout yes at them and heap praise on the club for getting the defender’s signature.
One Hammers supporter even boldly claimed that the club’s new recruit was the best right-back in the Premier League.
Fredericks featured 48 times for Fulham in their 2017/18 campaign and helped them win promotion to England’s top-flight through the play-offs.
The right-back ended his latest season having registered nine assists in his outings with them all coming in his league appearances for the club.
