West Ham United have put out feelers as they consider a move for Inter Milan attacker Yann Karamoh, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Italian football site report that the Hammers are interested in a move for the 19-year-old France youth international, as are Ligue 1 challengers Monaco, with the club ‘probing the ground’ ahead of a potential bid.

Tuttomercatoweb claim that Inter see Karamoh as ‘unsellable’, with manager Luciano Spalletti singling the youngster out as a player he would like to keep around this summer.

Good move for West Ham?

100%.

Karamoh is a brilliant young talent, and is obviously extremely highly-rated at Inter, with the club looking to keep hold of him at all costs this summer.

The young Frenchman made 17 first-team appearances for the Nerazzurri last term, and is expected to increase his senior involvement in the coming season.

To capture such a promising starlet would be a massive coup for the Hammers, who would have one of Europe’s biggest talents on their hands.

Likely to happen?

Unfortunately not.

Firstly, Inter do not want to sell, which means the Hammers will find negotiations hard and unfruitful.

Secondly, signing a young, as yet unproven winger is obviously not a priority for Manuel Pellegrini this summer, and he will be wanting to spend his budget elsewhere and not waste his time on an unattainable deal.

All in all this looks like a non-starter.
