West Ham fans have expressed their approval on Twitter after rising star Dan Kemp agreed the terms of a new three-year contract with the club.
The Hammers revealed on their official website that the wide forward, who joined from Chelsea two years ago, has committed to a deal that runs until the summer of 2021.
Kemp, 19, revealed he was “delighted” and “really excited for the future” as he extended his stay at the east London club.
Delighted to sign a new long term deal with @WestHamUtd, Really excited for the future⚒
Kemp has made one senior West Ham appearance – at the end of the 2016-17 season- and was making rapid progress until he suffered a cruciate ligament knee injury last season.
He began last season on fire with a series of scintillating performances for the Under-23s in Premier League 2 before he broke down in November.
Kemp is convinced he will soon be restored to full fitness as he aims to force his way back into first-team reckoning under new boss Manuel Pellegrini.
West Ham fans have given their thumbs-up on social media to the young forward agreeing a long-term contract.
