West Ham have made headlines for the wrong reasons again this week, following a clash between experienced striker Andy Caroll and manager David Moyes at the training ground.

Carroll was furious at being an unused substitute in the Hammers 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday, which sucked West Ham back into the relegation fight, and stormed off the bench as a result – an incident that Moyes stated he will be dealing with.

However, West Ham were unable to deal with the situation comfortably as the two figures clashed on the training ground, with Carroll reportedly being sent home, and The Sun report the England international will now be fined around £200k.

Carroll has just one year remaining on his contract at the London Stadium and his falling out with Moyes is likely to lead to a departure at the end of the campaign, with the Scottish boss already understood to be eyeing considerable improvements to his attacking line.
