West Ham boss David Moyes has begun his preparations for next season, with the Hammers’ Premier League status being all but secure heading into the final weeks of the season.

Only a dramatic turnaround could now relegated the east London side and Moyes has set his targets on summer additions, with The Sun citing reports that he will look to raid a promotion-chasing side for two top targets.

Fulham’s battle for automatic promotion from the Championship is set to go down to the wire on Sunday, as the fight it out with Cardiff for the opportunity to join Wolves in the top-flight next season, while a playoff place is secure if they fall short of that objective.

If the Cottagers were to fail to secure promotion, West Ham’s chances of securing two of Fulham’s top talents will be handed a significant boost – with Moyes keen on signing full-back Ryan Fredericks and skipper Tom Cairney.

27-year-old Cairney has been one of the stand-out performers in the second-tier this season, while Fredericks’ services are attracting plenty of attention as he edges into the final months of his contract – with West Ham long been touted with a move for the soon to be free agent.
