West Ham face a busy period in the summer transfer window and it’s likely to see a number of players leave the London Stadium.

Amongst those on the verge of an exit is Scottish international Robert Snodgrass, who has excelled on-loan in the Championship with Aston Villa- leading to suggestions that his compatriot David Moyes will hand him a fresh chance to impress at the end of the season.

However, speaking to Villa’s official website, Snodgrass made it clear he wants his future to lie with the east Midlands side and is hoping to secure promotion in the final weeks of the campaign.

“I’ve loved being here with the boys and I just don’t want it to end. If it is to end then I want it to end on what I visualised when I came here – I want to get this club promoted. I’ve loved it, I want to try to repay them because they’ve supported me and the rest of the boys throughout the season. The away support is like you’re playing at home sometimes. It’s incredible.”

Signed in January 2017, Snodgrass made just 15 league appearances last season before his exit.
