West Ham boss David Moyes has plenty of work to do this summer as he seeks to rejuvenate his side but he may have to use some of his time to fend off interest from some European giants in a prized asset.

The Mirror states both AC Milan and Ajax are chasing a deal for West Ham starlet Domingos Quina, who has excelled with the Hammers’ U23 side this season.

Quina, 18, earned his senior debut for the east London side at the age of just 16 and has gone on to make appearances in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season, although his future hangs in the balance due to his uncertain contract situation.

The Portugal youngster is approaching the final year of his deal at West Ham and David Moyes could be tempted to cash-in this summer in order to raise funds for first-team improvements, with Quina likely chasing first-team guarantees that West Ham cannot offer.

A move to Ajax, renowned for their development of young talents, could bring the best out of the Portugal U19 international but the chance to move to the San Siro may be difficult to turn down.
