West Ham boss David Moyes has plenty of work to do this summer as he seeks to rejuvenate his side and there could be a number of high-profile exits from the London Stadium.

The club’s recruitment in recent years has been widely criticised and their exploits in the market last summer were hardly a rousing success, with Javier Hernandez’s return to the Premier League hardly setting the world alight.

Speculation has suggestion the Mexico striker, a target for MLS franchise DC United, will leave the club this summer and Hernandez’s grandfather has gone one step further, stating that the Hammers will ‘throw him out’.

Cited by SportWitness, Tomas Baltazar told El Sol de Irapuato:

“I think he’ll carry on triumphing. Over there, they’re going to throw him out of the West Ham team. It’s a team that isn’t well composed, and that means there’s no one to give him a ball to put in the back of the net.”

The 29-year-old has scored eight goals in 27 Premier League appearances this season, including the equaliser against Chelsea in a recent 1-1 draw.
