West Ham have endured a difficult season, with David Moyes’ side sat just three points above the relegation zone after three consecutive defeats against Liverpool, Swansea and Burnley.

With just eight games remaining, the Hammers have plenty of work to do and their challenges will continue into the summer, where Moyes and the club’s hierarchy will look to rebuild the squad and push to greater form.

Defensive changes are expected, which could also mean outgoing pieces of business as well as incoming deals, and it seems the prospect of movement has already begun- asĀ Get West LondonĀ state West Ham’s academy graduate Ben Wells is on-loan with QPR.

The 18-year-old has captained West Ham’s U18 side this season and is highly-rated amongst the Hammers academy, although his future at the London Stadium is uncertain.

Now searching for the best route towards first-team football, Wells may decide that his best opportunities lie away from east London.
