West Ham are seeking to improve their forward options this summer, after another disappointing season has seen them struggle near the foot of the Premier League.

The Hammers currently sit just three points above the relegation zone after three consecutive defeats and, whilst the root of their problems this season have been in defence, David Moyes is likely to look to bolster his attacking ranks as well.

One name linked with a move to the London Stadium is Ostersunds striker Saman Ghoddos, who caught the eye for the Swedish side this season in the Europa League, including a stellar victory against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

A host of sides are interested in Ghoddos’ services, including Crystal Palace and Brighton, and it seems the Iranian international is open to a summer move. Speaking to Aftonbladet, the 24-year-old said:

“It’s great to hear about such rumours, but it’s a long way until the transfer window opens again. Hopefully there will be even more interest this summer. Until then I’ll take one match at a time.”
