West Ham face a difficult task this summer as they seek to improve their ranks and their battle is likely to leave them fighting off interest in a number of their key players.

Argentine star Manuel Lanzini is one of those reportedly attracting interest, with Liverpool identifying the South American is an ideal replacement to fill the void left by Philippe Coutinho’s departure to Barcelona in January.

However, the Hammers have been issued a boost by Lanzini himself as he stated he loves the club in comments made to the official website ahead of Argentina’s friendly with Italy in Manchester.

“I’ve always said I am very happy at the Club and it’s a Club where I feel very comfortable and I really enjoy working with this group of players. I’ve been here for three years now and I get on well with a lot of people. We have a lot of big personalities here and big players here and I truly get on well with everyone at the Club.”

“I always give 100 per cent to the Club. I don’t know what will happen in the future, but today I am very, very happy and I love playing here.”

West Ham are desperate to keep Lanzini at the London Stadium and are keen for the South American ace to sign a new contract, although they’ll have to wait until their Premier League status is secured.
