West Ham are looking to significantly improve their ranks in the attacking third this summer, after a campaign where the Hammers have struggled for consistency in front of goal.

Joint top-scorers Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez have just seven goals each, whilst Michail Antonio has only just hit form with a return of two goals in three games- taking his tally for the campaign to three.

David Moyes is understood to be in the market for players to bolster his front-line and Turkish outlet Takvim have given a significant update in the chase for Garry Rodrigues, stating the Hammers lead the chase.

The 27-year-old winger is a target for Newcastle United and Everton, with his agent recently confirming Premier League interest in his client, but the report states West Ham lead the chase after lodging a €12m bid.

However, it’s stated Galatasaray have rejected the approach as they’re holding out for a figure closer to the €18m mark if the Cape Verde international is to be on the move.
