West Ham saw themselves sucked back into the relegation dogfight after last weekend’s 4-1 drubbing at the hands of fellow relegation strugglers Swansea City, which has left the Hammers just three points above the drop zone.

David Moyes’ side have only won away from home two times this season, which increases the importance of the six remaining games that West Ham have at the London Stadium- starting with this weekend’s hosting of Burnley.

Sean Dyche’s side have caught the eye in the Premier League this season with superb performances, as they currently sit seventh in the standings, and the Clarets brought an end to an 11-match winless run by beating Everton last weekend.

West Ham will certainly have to be at their best to get anything out of the game, particularly as even a draw may not be deemed good enough, but a crucial injury boost has been handed to the Hammers ahead of the game.

According to ExWHUEmployee on Twitter, both Angelo Ogbonna and James Collins are in-line for a return this weekend, handing Moyes a massive boost defensively- as it’s an area ravaged by injuries.

The Hammers lost Winston Reid to a knee injury last weekend and are short on options but the return of both Ogbonna and Collins could be decisive.
