West Ham have struggled for stability in the Premier League this season and find themselves just a single point above the relegation zone after three consecutive defeats, leaving a huge challenge ahead in the final eight matches.

One major area where the Hammers have lacked ability is between the sticks, where Joe Hart has arrived from Manchester City on-loan but has failed to impress, conceding 33 goals in 15 matches and falling behind Adrian in the pecking order.

Hart came under criticism again before the international break after another error during the 3-0 defeat to Burnley but has vowed to not let the critics get the better of him, as he told Sky Sports:

“I’m not going to let that ever affect me. The position I’m in if you let confidence dip it’s going to affect you badly. I’m me, I’m going to keep working hard, I’ve worked hard every day of my life and I’ll continue to do that whether I’m playing or not.”

The 30-year-old kept his spot in the England squad despite his poor form but faces a battle alongside Everton’s Joe Pickford and Stoke City’s Jack Butland for the number one jersey at this summer’s World Cup.
