West Ham are looking to significantly improve their ranks this summer and are set to focus on improving their defensive ranks, after another campaign where they’ve lacked stability.

Fulham full-back Ryan Fredericks has long been linked with a move to east London following his impressive performances for the Cottagers and he’s likely to be a bargain, as his contract with the promotion-chasing Championship side expires this summer.

However, West Ham should anticipate a fight for the signature of the 25-year-old as The Sun states Everton are the latest club to join the chase.

Further competition could also come from Swansea City, who have been attributed from interest, and Fredericks destination will likely hinge on the top-flight status of his suitors come the end of the season- which may give Everton an edge.

The Toffees look safe from the drop, whilst West Ham sit just a single point above the relegation zone following three consecutive defeats and Swansea also have work to do to remain in the Premier League for next season.
