The January transfer window has closed and the Premier League season now just has a few months remaining until it’s conclusion, with football fans then treated to World Cup action in Russia during the summer months.
A World Cup year is significant across the football spectrum as it often leads to the emergence of young talents, a host of transfers and managerial shake-ups across the board, which is something that will interest West Ham.
The Hammers have struggled for consistency since moving to the London Stadium and the project in east London has therefore been restricted. Further signings this summer could change that though and West Ham need to look towards young talents.
