Alex Song
Already spending time with West Ham, the midfield journeyman improves an area of the Hammers squad that is significantly lacking depth- and the addition of Alex Song could provide a boost even if he doesn’t feature regularly in the first-team.
After missing out on the services of an established defensive midfielder in the January transfer window, West Ham could look to Song as a stop-gap before addressing the issue properly at the end of the current season.
Having spent two spells with the Hammers, Song shouldn’t find it too difficult to settle back into the rhythm of things and has recently be training with Arsenal to maintain his fitness levels.
