Getting fans on side
It’s no secret that the West Ham board are incredibly unpopular, with the fans not forgiving them for moving them away from Upton Park and into the London Stadium. The move came with the promise of competing at the top but the reality has been completely different.
With the club’s recruitment in recent seasons also being very questionable, Moyes faces a big challenge getting the fans back on side. However, the general uproar is directed at those above him rather than his own tenure and that gives him something to build upon.
By landing important signings, bleeding in youngsters to the side and generally leading to improvements on the field, fans will back Moyes more- and that will give him a massive platform to build upon.
