West Ham are looking to raid the second-tier in their attempts to bolster their side this month, with reports linking the Hammers to a pacy wide-man.

The Northern Echo states David Moyes’ side are expressing an interest in Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore, who has caught the eye of Premier League side’s following his performances for the Teesside outfit since moving from Aston Villa in 2016.

Whilst he’s yet to find consistency in the North East, Moyes is keen to bring him to the London Stadium this month as he looks to bolster his options out wide following the groin injury sustained by Michail Antonio.

However, Middlesbrough regard the Spaniard very highly and would command a hefty fee for his services, likely to be around £15m, and Boro boss Tony Pulis has already shown he has faith in the winger by utilising him this season.

Relegated from the Premier League last year, Middlesbrough still have a chance of securing promotion this season but will need to find consistent form in order to do so- and Traore may well be integral to their plans.
