West Ham’s busy final week in the January transfer window and the Hammers could face a number of potential departures from the London Stadium.

David Moyes is keen on rejuvenating his squad with movement in the market but in order to facilitate big moves some players may have to leave- and one forward has his heart set on a return to familiar surroundings this month.

Ghana Web report that West Ham’s Andre Ayew is keen to leave the London Stadium this week and to seal a return to former club Marseille, although the Hammers’ demands for his services could throw a spanner in the works.

The BBC recently reported that another of Ayew’s former sides, Swansea City, have seen a £14m bid rejected for the services of the Ghanian striker- with the Hammers looking to recoup as much of the £20m fee they paid for the African ace as they possibly can.

Suitors for Ayew have been slim this month and West Ham’s demands could scupper the chances of an exit.
