Leander Dendoncker
The 22-year-old Belgian ace has been linked with some of the biggest sides in Europe in recent years but Anderlecht have made it clear they will not sell unless they receive an offer worth a premium fee. West Ham have the finances to fund such a move and should push ahead for a deal.
The youngster would provide a significant boost initially but, crucially, would also be important for the club’s development in the long-term, with the Hammers looking to establish themselves as regulars on the European stage in the coming years.
Dendoncker’s development would prove to be extremely valuable for that and his services would likely hand West Ham a profit further down the line, should they look to sell.
