West Ham United are actively seeking new faces ahead of the January transfer window, as they seek to turn their fortunes around.

The Hammers currently sit in the bottom-three of the Premier League, with just ten points to their name after 15 matches, and face a testing time ahead with back-to-back games against Chelsea and Arsenal.

David Moyes is still awaiting his first victory in charge of the East London side, having replaced Slaven Bilic during the recent international break, but his most testing time of the season is likely to come when the window reopens in the New Year.

According to TalkSport, the Hammers could revive their interest in summer target Nicolai Muller, who’s available to sign a pre-contractual agreement in the coming weeks as he edges closer to the end of his deal with Hamburg.

The Bundesliga side elected not to cash in during the summer, when Southampton and the Hammers were reportedly keen on the 30-year-old and now risk losing the experienced winner for nothing in 2018.

Hamburg’s hopes of securing Muller to a new deal were shattered on the opening day of the season, where he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and still remains a way off full fitness.
