West Ham are still yet to win a game under the guidance of David Moyes, having been drubbed by Everton in midweek.

The Hammers missed the chance to rise out of the Premier League’s relegation zone as a result and now face a daunting few weeks ahead, as they travel to Manchester City before welcoming Chelsea and Arsenal to the London Stadium.

It certainly seems like December will be a case of damage limitation for the East London side, with the plan to improve the squad in January, and doesn’t appear that anyone rates their chances ahead of a clash with the Premier League leaders.

BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson is amongst the many condemning West Ham to a defeat on Sunday, as he predicted a 3-0 win for the Citizens.

“West Ham collapsed against Everton in midweek, and they are another team that needs to see December as a kind of damage-limitation period, and then try to solve their problems in the January transfer window.”

“Their forthcoming fixtures are not exactly helpful from that point of view, though, starting at Etihad Stadium and then with home games against Chelsea and Arsenal.”

“Southampton and Huddersfield have shown in the past week how teams can make it difficult for Manchester City, even if Pep Guardiola’s side still beat them both in the end. I don’t think the Hammers have got the personnel to do that, though.”
